1. Re: RF4 - a4j:poll doesn't work.
lfryc Jun 16, 2011 8:33 AM (in response to valterhenrique)Hello Valter,
could you please try use Firebug Net view to determine if requests are flowing as they should and no error occurs?
Additionaly you can try a4j:log component and observe if there are no errors.
If nothing from that helps, it would be needed to send more complete sample.

valterhenrique Jun 16, 2011 8:42 AM (in response to lfryc)Hi Lukas, it seems no error.
Something weird happens, because i include my clock page in another jsf page, and works fine.
Why this happens ?

lfryc Jun 16, 2011 8:50 AM (in response to valterhenrique)When you use the page starting with
<ui:composition xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"
xmlns:a4j="http://richfaces.org/a4j"
xmlns:rich="http://richfaces.org/rich">
directly, it may happen that no all of the resources are loaded properly (in this case JS scripts).
You can check that the same scripts are loaded on Showcase page and your page.
Your definition should then look rather:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"
xmlns:a4j="http://richfaces.org/a4j"
xmlns:rich="http://richfaces.org/rich">
<h:head></h:head>
<h:body>
<!-- contents of ui:composition -->
</h:body>
</html>
