I'm trying to find a way as how I can invoke this bean from jmx-console or admin-console on demand for debugging purposes.
That's not possible. Also that would defeat the purpose of "scheduling" it, isn't it? Or did I misunderstand the question?

srikrishnak Jul 14, 2011 12:10 PM (in response to jaikiran)Thanks for the answer! It is helpful in the scenario where you either want to 1) speed up things to address an adhoc request or b) to debug an issue without having to reconfigure the scheduler in production to run faster. I also work with an e-commerce framework called ATG and it is possible to start schedulers on demand over there, which I've deployed on jboss as well.
Thanks
