2. Re: Adding an extra element in the classpath
alitokmen Jul 22, 2011 3:07 AM (in response to jaikiran)If I read correctly, does this imply that we cannot just put in a JAR file that would be used as a common library?
How can I do then, for example, with old-fashion JDBC drivers?

You'll have to create a module for the JDBC driver and let the datasources use that module.

i3719 Mar 13, 2012 3:50 AM (in response to jaikiran)I have the same problem.
Can jboss-deployment-structure.xml 's <
resources
> tag do this?
In this document have a comment :
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/AS7/Class+Loading+in+AS7
<!-- These add additional classes to the module. In this case it is the same as including the jar in the EAR's lib directory -->
<
resources

<
resource-root
path
=
"my-library.jar"
/>
</
resources

Is "additional classes" means external common lib which is put in anywhere on the server?
