Rich faces datatble

hi,
i am new to Richfaces i want to use rich:extented datatable ,but i don't have any idea of how to bind Mysql database query datat to this table any idea?

Do you use JBoss Seam or not? Any persistence layer?

no, actually i am developing application in Netbeans,
earlier my application was developed on woodstock jsf component & Mysql.
now i want to migrate to rich faces.
if you have ant idea please help

You can use java.util.List or array of objects or SQL javax.servlet.jsp.jstl.sql.Result or java.sql.ResultSet as value of rich:dataTable.

Is there any provider or rowset support in ricfaces?
i mean in rowset we direct write select query & set rowset to datatablemodels's setwrapedata property.?

RowSet extends ResultSet, so it can be used together with standard models. No need to create data model implicitly - just use "value" attribute to point to the property containing ResultSet.
