code_monkey Sep 22, 2011 9:59 AM (in response to a_nat)I am not a jBPM expert (just a new user), but what about the H2 database that the demo uses? The demo uses it in-memory, but it can be configured to be persisted to secondary storage. AFAIK, jBPM can use almost any DBMS. Personally, I'm planning on using PostgreSQL.

salaboy21 Sep 22, 2011 10:07 AM (in response to code_monkey)Yes.. this question is related with Hibernate and Hibernate compatibility with different relational databases. jBPM5 uses hibernate through JPA an for this reason you should check the compatibility or recommendations to use Hibernate with a specific DB vendor. Depending on that you will need to do some tuning or override the default mappings to each different vendor.
