    AOP and Web Beans

Guice AOP.  I did not see AOP in 299.  Is the general philosophy of orthogonal concerns anti-AOP in Seam and Web Beans?  Yes, I know Seam has interceptors and so does EJB3, but what about possibility of AOP?

If you want to use AOP, use AOP, why does 299 need to say anything about that?

Doesn't have to.  But it would be nice to have an AOP spec in JCP by now.  And it would be nice if Seam stack had option for AOP framework (I'm not a big fan of Spring's XML config of security, transactions, logging, etc. but it's nice to be able to do that and not affect your codebase at all - or very little).  Trade off is potentially tons of XML.
