    Master data load

      Hi everyone,

I have a Seam 2.2 application which needs some static master data to do its work. Currently I think about an eays solution how to get this static data into the database. Of course I don't want to write a java class putting the hardcoded stuff into the database. Do you know a databse wrapper which imports a file (csv, xml, ...) and inserts the data into the database?

      Thanks for your help.

      Kind regards

          Hello,

I believe there is a file called import.sql, under the directory resources (or resources/META-INF) in projects created by seam-gen. This file may contain SQL statements that are executed at startup.

Thanks, I didn't know that... but I can guess of some ore comfortable ways. I'd like to use the entities and don't want to put the data into the database by using native sql.
