I work at a bank, and from some time past there are more and more seam projects, and they are in production.

nickarls Dec 16, 2009 12:50 PM (in response to darkopetreski)We've written stuff in Seam for ordering of pharmaceutical stuff and chemotherapy doses. Our customer prefers to have an up-and-running system so it could be called mission critical. Well, of course things have to be done even if there would be a total network/electrical grid failure...

xsalefter.xsalefter.yahoo.com Dec 16, 2009 2:17 PM (in response to darkopetreski)Hmm.. I don't know if I'm allowed saying this (Please delete my post if this is disallowed), because AFAIK they never write it in seam in production section, but refer to this discussion, javelin crm use a seam framework. I try to create an account there, and, yes, it is good. And serious site, I think.

kragoth Dec 17, 2009 12:41 AM (in response to darkopetreski)My project is using Seam (although not the SMPC) and it is a financial system (not banking per say, but billing and ivoicing at a fairly large scale).
I think programming for mission critical apps is not necessarily about the framework itself. Seam has proved that it is a capable framework from a Production point of view. Mission critical applications rely entirely on the developers writing code that is good enough for a mission crirical system.
