arturfriesen Aug 10, 2011 4:31 AM (in response to dhanarajar)Hi,
how long the upload takes place?
I had a similar problem with uploading big files.
The problem was the session-timeout. Maybe its also your problem.Best Regards,

dhanarajar Aug 10, 2011 6:35 AM (in response to dhanarajar)Hi !!
I hope Session Time not a reason..
Because my session time out setting is 30 mins...
<session-config>
<session-timeout>30</session-timeout>
</session-config>
Else explain me little bit how you are saying session Time out wil be the problem..
@Note :If you uploaded the zip files with rich:fileUpload pls give me a sample here -

tausuahmed Aug 12, 2011 1:25 AM (in response to dhanarajar)Hi,
If you are using MySql database try setting SET GLOBAL maxallowedpacket to max value.
Google out to see how to set this parameter in mysql.
I hope this will solve your problem.
Warm Regards,

Hi !!
I hope Session Time not a reason..
Because my session time out setting is 30 mins...Im pretty sure you have your timeout set to 30 milliseconds.. if you want 30 minutes go with 1800000.
i saw something with uploading large pdf's a while back that comes to mind. had to do with the browser being used. it would start the upload,, then at some point before completing the large file it would hang. actually i added maxPostSize among other tweaks with no results. start testing on other browsers and see if it isnt that browser revision. in my case, my uploads always worked when we were in the test environment. first demo for the client,, and wham.. wont upload a large file. very frustrating.
