    CMP + Oracle specifying another datasource

    Michael Bierenfeld Newbie

      Hi,

      does anybody now how to specify the datasource for an specific bean _outside_ ejb-jar.xml.

      I have the following jboss.xml :

      ---------------------------------------
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Cp1252"?>

      <resource-managers>
      <resource-manager res-class="org.jboss.ejb.deployment.JDBCResource">
      <res-name>MyDB</res-name>
      <res-jndi-name>OracleDB</res-jndi-name>
      </resource-manager>
      </resource-managers>

      <enterprise-beans>

      <ejb-name>Kunde</ejb-name>
      <jndi-name>atmiralis/beans/entity/dsm/Kunde</jndi-name>

      false

      </enterprise-beans>

      ------------------------------------------------------

      jaws.xml :
      ------------------------------------------------------
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

      OracleDB

      <type-mapping>Oracle8</type-mapping>

      ----------------------------------------------

      Since I am using a ejb generator that is overwriting ejb-jar.xml all the time I am trying to figure out how to get rid of the modifification in ejb-jar.xml
      ----------
      <resource-ref>
      Data source</description
      <res-ref-name>MyDB</res-ref-name>
      <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
      <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
      </resource-ref>

      Many thx in Advance

      Michael
