Here you will find the steps needed to deploy a web application using jBPM5.1 on Tomcat6.
Little changes to this example are needed for jBPM5.2, here is the porting: https://community.jboss.org/thread/177691?tstart=0
Thanks for your help. It is working fine now. But I have another problem when I deploy the jbpm console (5.2 version) on tomcat 6. When I login into jbpm console with krisv/krisv, i am getting blank screen. I have configured the users in tomcat-users.xml file. I don't see any exception logged in tomcat log file.
Please help me on this issue.
I 've never tried to deploy the jBPM console to tomcat...I deploy it in jBoss AS 5.1 (instead of AS7) and I can say that it's not so immediate (there are a couple of files to be modified)...
For sure, you have to check all the dependencies..jboss as comes with lot of libraries jbpm needs (like hibernate) while tomcat doesn't..so you need to add all thoose libraries to your tomcat (or put them in the application webinf/lib)
Then you have to check the datasource needed by the console and add it to your tomcat...
Hi Salvatore Loria,
I have resolved the JBPM Console (with Tomcat6) issue and now everything is working fine now.
Thank you very much for your quick help on integrating JBPM with tomcat6.
