1. Re: Issue deploying project with DB2 in Jboss 7.1 final
lafr Aug 14, 2012 5:29 PM (in response to priya.selvame)1 of 1 people found this helpfulIn my datasource def I have simply jndi-name="prod" and use-java-context="true" like you.
This binds the data source as "java:/prod".
I'm not sure how your name finally is.
Check your server.log or use the management console or jboss-cli to find it out.
Perhaps only a missing slash after the java-context: java:/jboss/jdbc/jpod

priya.selvame Aug 23, 2012 2:09 PM (in response to lafr)@ Frank: Thanks for your attempt to help me. If I remove the prefix of jndi I am getting the below exception.
Caused by: javax.xml.stream.XMLStreamException: ParseError at [row,col]:[96,17]
Message: "JBAS010471: Jndi name have to start with java:/ or java:jboss/"
and the admin console did help me to find the installed drivers for adding the datasource.

priya.selvame Aug 23, 2012 2:07 PM (in response to priya.selvame)I did fix this error by including services to my db2jcc-8.0.jar. Followed the "Modify the jar" section of JDBC Driver Installation from the below link
