JBoss ESB Message - how to clean delivered message in DB

I use JBoss4.2.3 SOA platform and the messages fills me table in MySQL database jboss[db schema]->message[table]. I know that JBoss during the start cleans these internal ESB messages, but is there possible set cleaning periodicaly no only by restart? I would delete all message with delivered= true.

I believe this should be possible with the message table, but I would try it on a test machine just to make sure there are no side effects.
