I installed the MS SQL Server 2000 JDBC driver and am trying to get it to work on my JBoss 3 RC1.
I found a mssql2000-service.xml somewhere on this forum, and all I've done this far is placed that file (with some small changes) and the jars from the JDBC-dir in the deploy directory of my JBoss server.
Is this sufficient?
When I start the server the jars and xml-file are loaded without error messages, but how do I test if the JDBC is in place without writing a bunch of code to make a demo app?
Hi, saw your message a couple of days ago, but was struggling with the same problem with cr1. The example service.xml for sqlserver2000 only seems to work with cr2 or greater. See http://jboss.org/forums/thread.jsp?forum=46&thread=16360 Hope this helps!
