RichFaces 4 is based on JSF 2 and works fine with it. However, implementation classes were renamed so you need to use UIDragSource istead of HtmlDragSupport, UIDropTarget instead of HtmlDropSupport etc. RichFaces 4 also contains a data table Have a look on our Migration guide [1]. I recommend to use RichFaces 4.2.3.Final for all new applications and upgrade to 4.3.0.Final as soon as it is available.
