    richfaces kitchensink quickstart fails

      I am attempting to get a quick start on development of a rich faces app, using the quickstart rich faces kitchensink project. However, after creating the project with all default settings, I get this error in the pom.xml file:

       

      ArtifactDescriptionException: Failed to read artifact descriptor for org.jboss.co (Click for 136 more)

       

      Running this command in the project directory reports success:

       

      mvn -U clean package

       

      However, after refreshing the project, the same errors are there. Any suggestions for how to get up and running with the richfaces kitchensink project?

       

      JBoss Developer Studio v6.0.0.GA

      Ubuntu 12.04

       

      Output from 'java -version':

      java version "1.7.0_11"

      Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_11-b21)
