Team,
We are getting an Unexpected Signal : 10 occurred at a memory location. Functiona Name = JVM_NewInstance. Library=/usr/j2se/jre/lib/sparc/server/libjvm.so.

AS part of this error get the following as well :
HotSpot Virtual Machine Error : 10
# Error ID : 4F530E43505002CC 01
# Please report this error at

#
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (1.3.1-b24 mixed mode)
*******************************************************
This happens at the time of startup of the server or as soon as some EJBs are accessed .
It is an intermittent bug that has started in a more regular basis now. We are running jboss 305 under Solaris 8 with jdk1.3.
Any ideas of how to resolve or anyone else experiencing the same?

it's a JVM bug so all you can do is try a different version of the JVM (sometimes turning the jitter off helps too but this is just to confirm the bug, you don't really want to run in an interpreted mode)
