Migrating from Jboss Treecache to Infinispan

Hi,

Is it possible to migrate Jboss Treecache to Infinispan Cache ?, we are using JBoss AS-4.2.3 GA.

If its possible then can any one give some useful links about it ?

Yes, we do offer a Tree compatibility layer:

https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/ISPN/Tree+API+Module

however you should eventually look into migrating your application to using a format which is a better match for Infinispan's map-like interface.

Thanks for your kind reply, is it possible to use this API with Jboss AS-4.3.2 GA and hibernate-3.5.5 ?
Can you please explain bit more about Infinispan's map-like interface.?

If you just need a second-level cache for Hibernate, read

https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/ISPN/Using+Infinispan+as+JPA-Hibernate+Second+Level+Cache+Provider

If instead you need a more general API for caching start here:

Thanks Tristan, let me try with this doc. i was very much doubted about migrating treecache to infinispan in jboss as 4.2.3GA.
