jboss-app.xml - Is meant for EAR file. Usually used to configure classloading
jboss-web.xml - Is meant for WAR files.
jboss.xml - Is meant for EJB jar files.
The dtd or the xsd of these xmls will give you an idea about what configurations can be done in these files. -

what do u mean by configure something specific to jbossAS? Is it mean if i just create a simple application i dont need to create those files to deploy to jbossAS?
So if i have an EAR file (which is contains WAR and JAR file) do i need to create these 3 files? Can you show me an examples for those 3 files configuration?
