How to build Fuse 4.0.0.4 with Camel 2.0-SNAPSHOT and CXF-2.2-SNAPSHOT ?

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to build Fuse 4.0.x with with Camel 2.0-SNAPSHOT and CXF-2.2-SNAPSHOT ?

Is there anything else to do then modifying in the pom.xml file (located under apache-servicemix-4.0.0.4-fuse\src) the property of Camel / CXF ?

<camel.version>1.5.4.0-fuse</camel.version>

<camel.version>2.0-SNAPSHOT-fuse</camel.version>

and

<cxf.version>2.1.3.3-fuse</cxf.version>

Hi Charles,

I think Camel 2.0-SNAPSHOT can work with latest CXF 2.1.x-SNAPSHOT , so you don't need to upgrade the CXF version to 2.2-SNAPSHOT.

But there are some API changes between the Camel 1.x and Camel 2.0. I'm not sure if the build can work.

Hi willem,

Indeed, I cannot build the project if I use camel-2.0 SNAPSHOT and CXF-2.2 SNAPSHOT. I will try to build it with only Camel 2.0 SNAPSHOT.

Hi Charles

I was failed to build the features/camel/servicemix-camel with Camel 2.0-SNAPSHOT.
Since there are lots of API changes in Camel 2.0-SNAPSHOT.

If your camel doesn't interact with the jbi endpoint, maybe you could try to install the Camel 2.0-SNAPSHOT features in Fuse ESB 4.0.4.
