1. Re: Using gwt widgets in errai ui
csa Oct 7, 2014 3:50 PM (in response to mendieta)Hi Juan,
A good example of how to do this in Errai UI is NavBar.html and NavBar.java from our Errai Security or GroceryList demos, which add a menu bar to every page:
In Errai UI, we want to rely on plain HTML5 to define page layouts. We represent individual DOM elements as GWT widgets (i.e. an input field as a TextBox) but we don't have widget-specific functionality to automatically coalesce child items into a parent widget.
Cheers,
Christian

2. Re: Using gwt widgets in errai ui
mendieta Oct 8, 2014 11:54 AM (in response to csa)Christian, thank you for answer and examples.
One final question which is related to the original.. How can I use a grid with pagination in errai ui?
I'm guessing I can place in my template two <div> elements, which I'll convert to a cell table and simplepager gwt widgets. But by doing this, I won't be able to use the DataBinding features that errai provides.. Im I right?
An alternative could be to use the ListWidget errai provides (so I can use DataBinding), and implement a paginator by my self.
Are this alternatives ok to you?
Thanks!
