Using F5 LTM instead of httpd

We are early users of Jboss in our org. F5 is the std here for load balancing. Any issues I should be aware of with using F5 rather than httpd for load balancing?

There should be no issues at all. As long as you configure F5 correctly.
if anything it will work much better than httpd
