1. Re: Which version of Hibernate is my JBoss running?
hlfsousa May 10, 2006 10:12 AM (in response to bjornbjorn)You should get the following message from your log:
INFO [org.hibernate.cfg.Environment] Hibernate 3.2 cr1
I got it from my own, which is the same version as yours (with EJB 3.0). -

bjornbjorn May 11, 2006 3:25 AM (in response to bjornbjorn)strange, there is no 'hibernate' in my entire startup log - here it is:

3. Re: Which version of Hibernate is my JBoss running?
hlfsousa May 11, 2006 1:25 PM (in response to bjornbjorn)It will not show up unless you deploy some EJB3 entities. Of course I only found it out when I undeployed my EJB3 application and restarted JBoss. :D

4. Re: Which version of Hibernate is my JBoss running?
bjornbjorn May 12, 2006 2:47 AM (in response to bjornbjorn)oh, ok - thanks :-)
I thought I had deployed ejb3 entities, but something must be wrong with the deploy then ... -
5. Re: Which version of Hibernate is my JBoss running?
hauke1980 May 12, 2006 1:40 PM (in response to bjornbjorn)A better way to get the version from your hibernate libraries shipped with the jboss is to look into the right JARs.
Below the META-INF directory you'll find the version string in the MANIFEST.MF file. -
6. Re: Which version of Hibernate is my JBoss running?
bjornbjorn May 16, 2006 10:20 AM (in response to bjornbjorn)right, good one hauke1980!
And in 4.0.4 we can find this in the file:
C:\jboss-4.0.4.CR2\server\default\lib\hibernate3.jar
The MANIFEST.MF tells us:Hibernate-Version: 3.2.0.cr1 Implementation-Version: 3.2.0.cr1
