    Specify jar-file in persistence.xml ... strange stuff

    pieterjan

I posted this on another forum ( http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=87057 ) but got no response, perhaps it belongs here.

If you follow the link you'll see that writing <jar-file>../../applicationone/referenced_project.par</jar-file> in the
persistence.xml leads to some strange behaviour. The '../' doesn't seem to do
there job and go to the parent directory. Instead they eat one character of the
      specified path.

      Anyone that can explain this?

      Cheers, Pieter-Jan
