Which version to use for quick start

Hi,

I tried to run the system by using the Teiid Designer but I have a problem about the connection of Teiid server. I used the following versions:

Teiid Designer does not have support for WildFly based server yet as of Teiid Designer 10. The latest support for is for Teiid 8.12.4 that is as of today.

For running quick start Hello World Teiid Data Federation Example - Teiid Examples - Project Documentation Editor you do not require Teiid Designer, so you can use Teiid 9.0 Beta2 and JDK 1.7 or JDK 1.8. The difference is, here VDB you create manually (simple XML file), where as with Designer it creates a VDB based on GUI based tooling.
