Exploding EAR

Hi All...I have an ear package file,,If placed in deploy dorectory,,it works fine,,,If i unzip that ear file plave the directory in the same directory,,it doesnt work,,plz help regd this asap

Obvious point really but make sure the expanded directory still has the .ear extension

e.g. deploy/myapp.ear/ .....
