I'm a bit new to JBoss and would like to know how to enable session tracking with jboss 3/jetty. I am using a clean install on a win2k machine and have configured my session timeouts in my web.xml for my web application to 30 mins, but my session ids keep being regenerated by the server, even when I manually use a previous session id in the URL.

I have noticed in the logs that distributable http session support is not enabled; how do I enable this. Most documentation seem to be for jboss 2.xx
