a4j:commandLink and custom javascript

Hello there,

I would like to include a javascript confirmation prompt within an a4j:commandLink, to decide whether or not to continue. Is this possible at all? I've tried using the onclick method but despite getting the confirmation prompt, the ajax submission is cancelled.

Any help would be gratefully received.

I've now sorted this, I was returning true on the onclick, when 'ok' was selected, which of course returned from the js, meaning no a4j submit was being called so, 'onclick="if (!(confirm('really?!'))) return false;"' solved the problem.
