Roles ignored in ejb-jar.xml

I have a test project and can not get the roles in my ejb-jar.xml file to be active. I can make any calls to my session bean even if the Server side login has not been performed.

Please Help

I guess my question is what is the minimum configuration to get EJB security working in JBoss. I was expecting a Security exception when calling a method which is associated with a role.

you need to specify the security domain in the jboss.xml file in your ejb.jar.
