a4j:status onstop stoped workig with richfaces 3.1.3 and IE7

I today installed version 3.1.3 and the status stoped working for IE6.
Firefox still fine. I tried prototype version 1.5.1 and the latest 1.6 but no luck.

The ontstart panel is called, but never removed.

I have similar problem even in FF.

There is such issue in Jira - http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/RF-1707
