jBoss Message Server support when client or server is behind

Hi all,
I would like to know is there any way, I can use an applet as a jms client which is behind the firewall communicating to a remote server which is also behind the friewall.,using the jBoss Message service.
Your inputs in this regard will be of great help to me.
