The JbossRemoteLogger is a .sar that is made for deployment in the JBoss server version 3.0.4 and up. It comes with a .jar for any client that needs to log messages in the JBoss’s log file over RMI. This new software uses the standard JMX over RMI service of the JBoss server.

It is provided by the Otemba team where it can be downloaded now. (http://sourceforge.net/projects/otemba) . The distribution is under the same GNU LGPL license as JBoss. The downloadable .zip includes the sources, the Ant build script with an installation checker and JUnit test cases.
