I have looked all over these forums and haven't found a consistent list of to dos for setting up mySQL with JBoss. I already got the $10 docs online and am still not sure

I installed jboss jboss-3.2.1.zip
(includes JBossWeb HTTP server and JSP/Servlet engine, EJB, CMP2.0, JCA, IIOP, Clustering, JTS, JMX and more) so I don't need Tomcat or anything- right?

I upgraded mySQL to the 4.1 alpha version to avoid problems of subselects
using driver mysql-connector-java-3.0.8 which I put in the C:\JBOSS_HOME\server\default\lib

then I copied mysql-ds.xml from C:\JBOSS_HOME\docs\examples\jca and put it in deploy

then I changes any instance of Hypersonic DS to mySQL in the files C:\JBOSS_HOME\server\default\conf\standardjaws.xml and C:\jboss-tomcat\server\default\conf\standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xm
