Is it always the log4jservice? From memory I think that
is the first to get loaded.
You have an smp kernel, do have multiple cpus?
You could try JBoss3.0 which doesn't use MLets.

I think service=log was part of 2.4.3 and removed for
2.4.4 are you using an old jboss.conf?
