Jboss&Tomcat toooo slow!

Hi all
Running a web application with two jars and three .wars using no more than 45 EJB 20 of them ar CMP -make jboss3.0.1&Tomcat run very slow .I'd like to hear about your experience with Jetty and the rest Engines.

Generally I would doubt the performance problem is really with tomcat. All the rest of the engines are pretty much the same anyways. Have you done a profile to see where the time is being taken?
