lukep1984 Sep 5, 2008 4:09 AM (in response to aspiring)You have to remember that disabled is an attribute, not a style and <rich:inplaceInput> doesn't has this attribute.But you can make some kind of workaround. When you want to make <rich:inplaceInput> disabled, you can hide it and use <h:outputText>.

<rich:inplaceInput id="fieldId" value="#{bean.field}"
editEvent="#{secBean.fieldModificationRight? 'onclick': 'none'}""isFieldModificationRigth" is a public method in the secBean returning a boolean value.
