Any successful HP/UX - JBoss - JDK 1.4 installations out the

I am curious if there are any successful HP/UX - JBoss - JVM 1.4 installations out there?

Or has everyone run into the problem listed here:
http://www.jboss.org/modules/bb/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t= anyone have any ideas for a solution to this problem other than going back to the 1.3 JVM?

Using 1.4 with JAVA_OPTS -client works. (Use the client jvm instead of the server jvm and it works. Go figure. Maybe there are garbage collection differences that do the trick?)
