    problem when open jmx-console

    march_ma Newbie

      Hi there,
I need your help for this problem. I installed the jboss3.2.3 and run it in the window xp and everything looks ok. In the window of console, it shows that the server already up and no error reported. And then I try to open the page of http://localhost:8080/jmx-console, there are errors as following. I have set the JAVA_HOME and JBOSS_HOME. The problem seems related to the Tomcat. I have installed Tomcat5.0.19 on my machine at port80 but it is not running when I start jboss. I have no clue about this. Anyone have any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

      Here is the error message:

          Raja Master

You have some sort of environment variable(TOMCAT_HOME, CLASSPATH something) that has c:\Program files in it. The Space is causing the issue. Remove the spaces from that entry or remove the environment entry if its not needed and try starting it back

Thanks Raja. I deleted the TOMCAT_HOME already. And I don't see anything wrong in the CLASSPATH(=.;C:\Sun\AppServer\lib;C:\Sun\AppServer\jdk\lib;C:\Sun\AppServer\lib\j2ee.jar;.\WEB-INF\lib\*.jar;C:\Program Files\Altova\xmlspy\XMLSpyInterface.jar;C:\Sun\AppServer\jdk\lib\tools.jar). You said it's the Space caused the problem. you mean the space in the index.jsp in the jmx-console.war? I checked it and don't see any space there. Could you give me more details about this? Thx.

Hi Raja, thx. The problem is solved. Just as you said, the Space in the jboss directory cause the problem. I copy the jboss folder to another directory, and it works.
              Thanks a lot.
