Appender in the log4j configuration to email me the applicat

Hi there,
I'm trying to add an appender to JBoss log4j configuration, that allows me to receive an email for every application error that I'm having in any of the web applications that I have deployed in my server.
I need to know how to declare this appender in JBoss and how to attach my class in the engine in order to accomplish this task.
Any help will be highly valuable
