All time functions, including daylight savings time, are handled by the JVM, so what you need is a JVM that handles dates/times correctly. See http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Intl/USDST_Faq.html
Thanks a lot Peter, I was just looking at the url you sent me, just need a suggestion.
We are currently using:
java version "1.5.0_01"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_01-b08)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0_01-b08, mixed mode)
And the linux box details:
$ uname -a
Linux avablkprod02 2.4.21-27.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Dec 1 21:59:02 EST 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I don't find any upgrades for linux-i386 and java version (1.5), I don't understand if I need to do any upgrade, please suggest.
A bunch of thanks,
