[JBoss 4.2.1-GA] EJB incongruence deploying an EAR on differ

Hi,

currently I have a database service running on a server hosting Oracle-XE, on another computer all EJB loaded by JBoss are connecting without problem to the database service.

The problem is that I am able to deploy my EAR into JBoss running on Windows Vista without problems, but when I load the same EAR into JBoss running on Debian I receive this error message:

ObjectName: persistence.units:ear=MyEar2007.ear,jar=tools-ejb.jar,unitName=tools-ejbPU
State: NOTYETINSTALLED
I Depend On:
jboss.jca:name=MyEarDS,service=DataSourceBinding

in both cases the Oracle jdbc driver is loaded into server/default/lib and the ear manually into server/default/deploy

any useful clue to solve this incongruence?

Really strange things happen, it seems that the same EAR loaded on Windows Vista JBoss deploy correctly its datasource, while the EAR loaded on Debian JBoss does not deploy its datasource at all. In fact checking more deeply the JBoss logs, I found an clear incongruece, I post here the content of two server log portion concerning datasources:

I really appreciate your help to fix this problem, where I can modify directly this xml descriptors at runtime? is there some way to do it safely from the JBoss web-console? Tnx
