jaikiran Nov 17, 2008 4:14 AM (in response to longbeach)I don't have much experience with IDEs. But to enabled debugging with JBoss, you need to uncomment the JAVA_OPTS section in the run.bat (for Windows. For Unix its run.conf) file where debugging is configured:
rem JPDA options. Uncomment and modify as appropriate to enable remote debugging. set JAVA_OPTS=-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8787,server=y,suspend=n %JAVA_OPTS%

longbeach Nov 20, 2008 9:10 AM (in response to longbeach)i drag and drop my EAR file in the deploy folder, after starting the server, else it is not deploying (check my previous posts from 1 or 2 months earlier on the reason why i do that).
But how do i launch my server in debug mode in that case ? -

peterj Nov 20, 2008 10:14 AM (in response to longbeach)Have you upgraded to 5.0.0.CR2? Many of the deploy-on-startup issues have been fixed there.
