debug mode with Eclipse 3.4 and jboss-5.0.0.CR1

hi,
i am trying to start JBoss 5 CR1 in debug mode, by right-clicking on the server window in Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede).

No luck at all. It is stuck with not much info.
I checked the 2 main log files :
boot.log and server.log

Here is the last line i get in the console view in Eclipse :

20:45:03,111 INFO [AspectDeployer] Deploying xml into org.jboss.aop.AspectManager@8c3ffe for BaseClassLoader@1e670e0{vfsfile:/D:/DeveloppementEJB3/jboss-5.0.0.CR1/server/default/deploy/ejb3-interceptors-aop.xml}

Can anyone help here ? Any idea ?

I don't have much experience with IDEs. But to enabled debugging with JBoss, you need to uncomment the JAVA_OPTS section in the run.bat (for Windows. For Unix its run.conf) file where debugging is configured:

rem JPDA options. Uncomment and modify as appropriate to enable remote debugging. set JAVA_OPTS=-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8787,server=y,suspend=n %JAVA_OPTS%

i drag and drop my EAR file in the deploy folder, after starting the server, else it is not deploying (check my previous posts from 1 or 2 months earlier on the reason why i do that).

But how do i launch my server in debug mode in that case ?

Have you upgraded to 5.0.0.CR2? Many of the deploy-on-startup issues have been fixed there.
