hide modalpanel from java bean(or after action)

hi all,
i am trying to use modal panel for datatable's editing, i fill modal panel's inputfields from data table's row. after filling i want use a4j commandbutton for saving changes.

is it possible to hide this panel from java bean ? or how i can hide modal panel after save?

use oncomplete on your save button to call closing JS after request completed. About validation in this situation you may read in wiki.

about validation did you mean a4j:commandButton attribute - bypassUpdates ? or something else ?
