Need help in using org.jboss.util.threadpool.ThreadPool

Hi,

Is it possible for application developer to use JBOSS ThreadPool to manager application level threads? If so can you direct me to some sample implementation or high-level steps; that I need to implement.

I got some details looking at JCA refrence documents/ sample by Adrian Brock, essentially implementation of JBossQuartzThreadPool using ThreadPool.

Are you talking about a JCA adapter having access to a thread pool. JCA uses a concept called the 'WorkManager' to give access to resource adapters for managing threads. Note, this is not a generalized mechanism and does not apply to other EE application components.
