    JBoss 3.0.0 RC2 Source Question

    Greg Turner Apprentice

How do I checkout a copy of the source that was used to build RC2? I did a successful checkout with module name = jboss-all. Is that it, or does jboss-all give me the snapshot of the source at the time of my checkout? Thanks

          Juha Lindfors Master

I have been evaluating JBoss for the last couple of days, and found that the documentation necessary for getting JBoss to run properly (both for 2.4 and 3.0 against Oracle) has been inadequate and I have spent unneccesary time in figuring things out.

If just getting it to run properly is so cumbersome, I do not dare thinking of what it owuld be to fix it at 3 am if - for some reason - the system would stop functioning.

A pity, because I like what I have seen working so far, and I would like to use it.

Better documentation for installation and configuration would be a definite bonus, for catching wanna-be customers like me.
