1. Re: Which JDK do I use for JBoss 3.2.5 ??? Help
nhhockeyplayer Sep 16, 2004 9:45 AM (in response to nhhockeyplayer)Sorry I need to be more specific.
My goal is to use JSTL.
Our web app ships with j2ee.jar from the Java SDK Enterprise Edition.
We want to synchrnize with the j2ee binaries that JBoss uses for 3.2.5 but I am unable to find any j2ee.jar in the JBoss 3.2.5 installation.
Can someone inform me where to find the j2ee binaries for j2ee.jar as well as the JSTL binaries, tld's and jars?
Knowing which exact version of the J2SDKEE that Jboss 3.2.5 helps too,.
Thanks -

norman.richards Sep 16, 2004 10:26 AM (in response to nhhockeyplayer)JBoss doesn't ship with the JSTL. I've used the apache JSTL implementation before, and it seems to work well with 3.2...

nhhockeyplayer Sep 16, 2004 2:07 PM (in response to nhhockeyplayer)I realize all of that.
We need to know how to upgrade j2ee.jar. Which one do we ship with for our webapp? Where do you find out what JBoss was built and running against?
Can you be more specific about jstl? -

darranl Sep 16, 2004 2:41 PM (in response to nhhockeyplayer)You should not be distributing a j2ee.jar file, the application server will have all the jars it needs already.
To compile against the jars with JBoss use jbossall-client.jar in the client folder.
