reloading one war within an instance

I have one jboss instance running multiple war files. Is there a way to reload/restart one war file without stopping and starting the whole instance? Thanks!

If you are using a *NIX system, then just touch the file.

Otherwise, the easiest way is to just copy the war file over the existing one, or delete the deployed war, and copy the new one over.

JBoss hot deploy will take over. That is, assuming you are not packaging your war files in an ear file.

thanks, but hot deploy doesnt work for some reason. the application seems to reload but all sorts of errors occur until the instance is stopped/restarted.

btw this is a redhat environment and all the applications are wars.
