Question:DataTable Column selecting effect

hello everybody,

So far, i have used a rich:datatable to list all products id and name. Now i want to double click on one column to transer a product id to server side without page refresh. How to make this effect?

a4j:support with event=onRowDblClick inside the table will work for you.Use f:param or a4j:actionparam to transfer the id

Add something like this inside required column

<a4j:support event="ondblclick"action="#{bean.someAction}"> <a4j:actionparam name="param" assignTo="#{bean.id}" value="#{item.id}"> </a4j:support>

Or you can add same code with event="onRowDblClick" before any of rich:column to have same double click event for the whole row.
