We are converting some SessionBeans to JBoss (from WebSphere) and everything is going okay, except in the DB code when trying to call setAutoCommit(false) on a connection. Then we get a java.lang.StackOverflowError error.

I am using JBoss 3.0.4 with an Oracle 8.1.7 DataSource configured thus:
