In general, how often are the docs updated, once a month? Once with every release?

For the last year or so, something was being updated every month or two, but the main documents were fairly stable.

The ComponentSource aren't a good place to non-windows users and products.
The download process proves it.

and my link for the May edition of the docs. They'll automate this at some stage I guess.

ComponentSource has added a "Unix Edition" to all JBoss documentation in the JBoss store.
If you select the Unix Edition when purchasing JBoss documentation, you will not be required to download a Windows executable file as part of the download. You will be able to directly download the documentation .ZIP file.
